The Terps looked awful last night in getting manhandled by a Tide team that plays good defense but honestly looked pretty average offensively. That team will have to win a lot of games playing nasty assed D. The Terps couldn't get anything going on the offensive end and Turgeon said they looked "very selfish" offensively..

We think things were so bad offensively yesterday that they cannot get too much worse. Colorado won't play that level of defense and hopefully, the Terps won't shoot under .200 for the first half. We think there is a major storm brewing between the head coach and Stogs. The kid had a very good freshman year but he plays out of control often times and is very selfish. That isn't sitting well with Turgeon as evidenced by Stogs coming off the bench against UNCW. It will be interesting to see how long Stogs will be allowed to play so self centered as I know he has to be frustrated with Pe'Shon being hurt and having to play the 1 and the 2 off and on with the free pick winners.

Terps honestly don't have anyone who is a scorer outside of Stogs when he gets hot. Mosley is experienced but not a scorer. Faust is a freshman and may have games where he goes for 14 points or something but outside of that, literally we don't have shot. So we will have to play good defense and that's not happening right now either. The other team playing ugly doesn't mean you played great defense. The rebounding was poor last light outside of Pankey who was a nice surprise. Colorado got beat to death on the boards by Witchita St so this should be about even on the boards tonight. Terps aren't deep at all with only 7 scholarship players so with this being our third game in about five nights, fatigue could become an issue in the second half and will definitely be an angle Sunday in the 3rd round. This Terp team may surprise some people this year and getting Len and Pe'Shon back in late December/early January will be a huge boost but for now, things are so out of sync and the season is so early that we don't see any surprises coming on the horizon. Best hope tonight is that they play energetic D, rebound much better and someone can actaully throw it in the ocean offensively.
