The Fighting Blue Hens come into this game with a record of 7-17, 3-10 in the CAA. William & Mary is 16-7, 8-5 in the conference. Delaware has 5 straight wins when visiting William & Mary, and they are 11-1 ATS in their last 12 meetings.

These teams met earlier this season on Jan 6 with the Tribe escaping with a 74-73 win in overtime at Delaware. The Blue Hens really feel like they let that one slip away as W&M hit 3 three pointers in the last 20 seconds to tie the game and send it into overtime, where they eventually won the game. I believe that Delaware will be out for revenge in this one, and while they are a considerable underdog, they know they can hang with this W&M team. 

The Tribe is only 2-4 in their last 6 games, all in the conference. W&M scores 39% of their points from the 3-point arch, and lately they have not been shooting the ball well. I'm not sure if opposing defenses are more closely guarding their shooters, making them put the ball on the floor, or if the length of the season is catching up to the legs of W&M's shooters. But whatever the reason, shots are not falling, and the Tribe offense has gone south. W&M has averaged a mere 55.3 points over their last 6 games. 

I believe we are getting great value with this Blue Hens team because of W&M's early season success. In non-conference play, the Tribe beat both Maryland and Wake Forest. That early success is inflating their value to this day, and even though they have only beaten 2 teams by more than 12 points all season, they are favored by that number in this game. Delaware has been competitive in the CAA despite their 3-10 conference record. Junior guard Jawan Carter, a transfer formerly of St. Joseph's, has been lighting it up lately, averaging 23.8 points over his last 5 games. 

Lastly, I see the distinct possibility that W&M will be looking forward to their next game, a home date with first place Northeastern.  Between Delaware success in the series, the revenge factor, W&M poor shooting, Delaware competitiveness, and the look ahead angle
