Mizzou @ Texas

We have a spot on the horns that we can not pass up. At first glance people will see that 8 in the loss column and assume the team just isn't really that good. Well a deeper look shows that really isn't the case. Among those 8 losses were Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri, Baylor, Iowa State, and UNC... all of which are in our opinion top 40 teams in the nation, and in the case of Baylor, Missouri, UNC, and Kansas top 10 teams. Now that we've got that out of the way we will point out that Texas ranks in the top 30 in the nation in both offensive and defensive efficiency. The team is led by J'Covan Brown whose much much better than we think most people realize and as athletic as Mizzou is we still see him proving match up problems for them. It's tough to say a game at Texas could be a look ahead spot for Mizzou, but it's very possible given they've got a home match up looming on deck against Kansas. Texas on the other hand has a glorified scrimmage on deck against Texas Tech, so you can bet 100% focus will be on Missouri. We are sure it would've been anyways, but it's important to point out there isn't even the slightest possibility of a look ahead. At the end of the day Missouri is the better team and on a neutral court would probably win 6 or 7 out of 10 times, but the situation here commands a play.
