The lines on these San Diego State games are getting out of hand. They have been constantly getting disrespected from Vegas on these lines. These lines have been completely off and we are going to start taking advantage of it. The Aztecs are 52-5 since the start of the 2010-2011 which is good enough to be the best in the nation. Yes, that wasn't a typo, best in the nation. They didn't get that record by losing games to teams like Colorado State. In their last 2 games CSU lost to Wyoming by 19 and New Mexico by 33, both of which are teams SDSU beat on the road by double digits. We do understand sometimes home team will get favorable lines against ranked teams from time to time, but this is just absurd. Colorado State is a team who went 11-4 out of conference by beating up on the bottom feeders of the NCAA, any half way decent team they've played they've been beaten and usually in blowout fashion. To put it simple, Colorado State is a fraud of a team and they are in way over their heads against SDSU.

 

 

 

 

 

 

It is never easy to go against a team like Kansas, especially with the way they have been playing, but tomorrow we feel we have a great opportunity. Everyone knows about all American Kansas big man Thomas Robinson he's a beast, and is very difficult to defend. He has superior talent and interior dominance usually go a long way towards Kansas not only beating but crushing opponents. What Iowa State has that many of Kansas's previous opponents haven't is a big man who'll be willing to go down in the low post and bang with Robinson and challenge him on the boards. Royce White certainly isn't as well known and talked about like Robinson is, but he's a very solid player. He averages about 14 points and 10 rebounds to go with 4.5 assists. 4.5 assists a game for a 6'8'' 270 lbs big man in the college game is pretty much unheard of. White has some big time talent and he'll be the key for the Cyclones hanging around here and possibly even pulling out the upset. A few weeks ago in Lawrence, Iowa State actually hung with Kansas and lost by only 9, that'll be big in making them believe and realize this team is beatable. Getting them in their home building will basically serve as Iowa State's super bowl tomorrow, we expect a great effort and solid performance. Kansas is on upset alert.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

St Mary's today has bitten off more than they can chew against BYU tonight. Let us first point out BYU's amazing home court advantage, they play in front of nearly 23,000 each night with is the 3rd biggest arena in college hoops. Now that their in the WCC this is a venue the likes of which that conference has never before seen. Most arenas in the WCC hold about 5 maybe 6 thousand, not BYU 23,000 for them. To say this will be a tough road test for St. Mary's is an understatement. Next we would like to mention the tough scheduling spot for St Mary's, this is 3rd straight road game for them and to send a possible travel weary team into Provo is like walking into the lions den. Yes BYU had to travel back home from Virginia after the win over Va Tech, but we don't think that will be to big of an issue. That entire flight back those kids were on cloud 9 after a road win over an ACC team. BYU's confidence should be sky high and tomorrow is their first true big home WCC game. We are sure that the cougars have had this one circled for some time and should come in with high motivation. We are going to see a energized crowd and a fired up team of Mormons. On top of all of that they'll be looking to run St. Mary's out of the building. Even post Jimmer BYU still plays at a very fast pace, and even a disciplined St. Mary's team could get sucked into a back and forth track meet from time to time. It can be easy to lose your head and game plan playing in front of 23,000. In their last home game BYU was subject to a bad loss against an LMU team they should have beaten by 20. That loss should make them focus more. If St. Mary's can go into Provo and win this game, or even keep it in single digits, we will give them a round of applause.. but we just don't see it happening.
